Performance of rabbits wean from females fed with different leveis of energy
Keywords:
cuniculture, digestible energy, weight gainAbstract
The aimed of this study is evaluate weight gain of six litters derived from lactating rabbits fed with two different energy leveis was assessed. Fifty-four young rabbits of New Zealand White kind were used. These were subjected to different leveis of digestible energy in the diet at two different treatments : DAC: 2.800 kcal diet containing digestible energy, DBC: 2.600 kcal control diet containing digestible energy. The parameter evaluated was weight gain of the litter, to the energy levei of the diet provided. The methods were used to evaluate the Telation analysis, and analysis of variance (ANOVA) with two treatments and three replications each (p<0.15). It was concluded in this study that the difference 200 kcal of digestible energy in the leveis 2.600 Kcal/kg and 2.800 Kcal/kg on diets for lactating mothers affect the performance of their litters.
