Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC), also known as epidermoid carcinoma or spinocellular carcinoma, represents a malignant neoplasm of epidermal cells that show differentiation into keratinocytes. It is characterized by its localized aggressiveness and potential for metastatic spread, although the latter tendency is uncommon. The scope of this study lies in the description of a clinical case involving a leucistic collared peccary housed in a zoo in Fortaleza, Ceará. The animal initially presented with multifocal skin lesions, which progressively worsened over time, culminating in more extensive epidermal lesions. This required medical intervention for detailed clinical evaluation, laboratory investigation, and the implementation of appropriate therapeutic strategies.
