Abstract
The occurrence of wing fractures in wild birds has increased as these free-living animals move closer to urban areas, leading to collisions with vehicles and various urban buildings. Knowing this reality, this study presents the case of a Roadside Hawk (Rupornis magnirostris) with a wing fracture in its left humerus, highlighting the importance of using diagnostic imaging tests, in conjunction with clinical analysis, to construct a prognosis and decide on the best course of action.
