Abstract
The aim of this study was to establish the anatomical standard of the young agoutis ' pelvis through the assessment of external and radiographic pelvic parameters . There were used 11 female agoutis and 8 male agoutis from NEPAS/CCAIUFPI. The animals were weighted and, after chemical restraint , the external measurements were done with a caliper. The radiographic diameters were measured. It was possible to establish anatomic pattern of the young agoutis' pelvis and determinate that agouti is a dolicopelvic specie and male and females presents some differences in their pelvis.
