Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.- A contribuição é original e inédita, e não está sendo avaliada para publicação por outra revista; caso contrário, deve-se justificar em "Comentários ao editor".

Artigos Originais

It must be original, bring critical evaluations of the literature in the area, with a contemporary focus and be presented in a clear and objective way (maximum 5 authors);
Relato de Caso
It should contain between 8 and 15 pages (1.5 space), covering the following topics: title (Portuguese and English), author(s) and affiliation (with full address with zip code, of the first author) and E-mail for contact , abstract (text without subdivision, spaced 1.0, time new roman, size 10, with a minimum of 150 and a maximum of 200 words), keywords (maximum 5, separated by a comma and a period at the end. first word in uppercase), abstract, keywords, introduction, patient care, results and discussion, conclusions and references (maximum 9 authors). The work can be about the care of animals in clinics or hospitals, as well as visits to properties, or private care;
Technical or scientific note
Should be limited to a maximum of 7 pages (1.5 space), covering the following topics: title (Portuguese and English), author(s) and affiliation (with full address with zip code, for the first author) and E-mail for contact, abstract (text without subdivision, in 1.0 space, time new roman, size 10, with a maximum of 150 words), keywords (maximum 5), abstract, keywords, introduction, methodology, results and discussion , final considerations and references (maximum 15, separated by a comma and a period at the end. First letter of the first word in capital letters); and may contain a maximum of 2 tables and/or figures. It is a brief communication, whose immediate publication is justified, as it is an unprecedented fact of importance, but with insufficient volume to constitute a complete scientific article. The technical or scientific note refers to the communication of methods, validation of methods, techniques, equipment or accessories developed (maximum 7 authors);
Short Communication
It should not exceed 6 pages (at 1.5 spacing). It will be accepted, as long as it presents important and original advances. It should include the following topics: title (Portuguese and English), author(s) and affiliation (with full address with zip code, of the first author) and E-mail for contact, abstract (text without subdivision, in 1.0 space, time new roman, size 10, with a maximum of 150 words), keywords (maximum 5, separated by a comma and a period at the end. First letter of the first word in uppercase), abstract, key words, introduction, text with sub- titles, acknowledgments (optional) and references (maximum 10), with a maximum of one figure or table. The work may be preliminary in nature, but it must always be complete. Typically, a short communication needs to be about a very recent resource, presented as a concise report that represents a significant contribution to the scientific community. It does not intend to publish preliminary results; only if these are of exceptional interest and are particularly current and relevant, can they be considered for publication (maximum 7 authors);
Dissertations and Theses
The dissertation and 10 pages the thesis must be succinctly written, with a maximum of six pages (1.15 spacing), and contain the same sequence of items as the original and complete version of the work.
