Abstract

The political philosophy of Ernesto Laclau and Chantal Mouffe allows the analysis on how takes place the formation of hegemonic discourses within society. Presenting the blueprint of a radical democracy, the authors propose an agonistic perspective that can replace the antagonistic dimension inherent to the notion of the ‘political’ which permeates the entire discursive field present in the social relations.
