Animic and private events: Wittgenstein among Behaviorisms
Keywords:
Mental. Behaviourism. Private events. Skinner. Wittgenstein.Abstract
At first, I discuss on the critique of behaviourism and its reduction of the inner to the outer in Wittgenstein’s second philosophy to then introduce the Skinner’s notion of private events as a possible mediation. After that, I bring up the Wittgenstein’s development of the mental as a logical consequence of the expressive forms and the grammatical asymmetries and, lastly, I present the measure of the maintenance of this notions as uncomfortable to the Skinner’s logical behaviourism.
