Of the normative criteria of legitimate beliefs
Keywords:
General Rules. Beliefs. Proof. Hume.Abstract
Our goal is to show the normative criteria to identify causal beliefs free of doubt - proof. We begin by presenting the thesis that any causal reasoning is discovered only through experience. Then we will present the general rules for guiding experience, and therefore beliefs, and thereby identifying those considered legitimate. We will defend this from the following argument: to obtain proof you need a uniform experience; to be sure of a uniform experience you need some rules; then to obtain proof you need rules.
