DAVID HUME AND OF THE ELEMENTS OF CAUSALITY AND THEIR STATUS

This work will investigate the concept of causality coined by the Scottish philosopher David Hume. We will identify which are the constitutive elements of causal reasoning, done that, we will analyze them in a didactic way in order to find their statute, that is, what epistemic value causality can have in Humean epistemology. We will see that it cannot be considered demonstrable, but only probable.
