Philosophical principles that fundament the pedagogy of Hugh of Saint Victor in the book Didascalicon

The objective of this article is to expose the principles that fundament the pedagogy of Hugh of Saint-Victor, a medieval monk from the 12th century, without the pretension of exaustivity as to the number of the fundaments. The work used will be the Didascalicon, from wich we will withdraw three fundaments: the comprehension of man as a rational being and desirous of wisdom; the philosophy as the knowledge of the world's principles and as the fundament of the other disciplines; lastly, the humility as the principle of all education.
