Pedro Bismarck de Albuquerque Filho, natural de Iguatu, no Ceará, pintou suas primeiras telas aos 14 anos. Desde então, ele participou de vários cursos, recebeu incentivo dos artistas Zezé Macedo e Antonio Babinski e ensinou Artes Plásticas em João Pessoa. Admirador das obras de Kandiski e Pollock, Pedro define seu estilo como “abstrato” e utiliza cores vibrantes e alegres como pode ser visto nas suas pinturas que ilustram este número de Tensões Mundiais.

Pedro Bismarck de Albuquerque Filho was born in Iguatu, Ceará, and his first canvases were done at the age of fourteen. Since then, he participated in various courses, received encouragement from artists like Zezé Macedo and Antonio Babinski, and taught Plastic Arts in João Pessoa. Admirer of the works of Kandiski and Pollock, Pedro defines his style as “abstract” and uses vibrant and joyful colors as can be seen in his paintings that illustrate this edition of World Tensions.
