Brazil-Italy Dialogues
for an appropriation of art, culture, and history in the production of poetic texts

This work is based on theoretical-analytical and descriptive research in the fields of Literature and Linguistics, developed within the framework of the REDE/Italy-CNPq project. Its aim is to describe actions that contribute to the teaching of Brazilian Portuguese (BP) as an additional language in Italy. To this end, it presents a didactic sequence proposal grounded in text-centered strategies, designed to enhance students' learning and support them in the process of autonomous writing in BP. With a focus on intertextuality, the activities aim to foster linguistic and cultural awareness, encouraging the creation of original texts and the exploration of literary and cultural heritage as a repertoire for constructing textual meaning. The proposal presents the development of a joint initiative between professors from a Brazilian and an Italian university, the outcome of reflections and shared perspectives shaped throughout international exchange activities. These are offered as a starting point for further experimental actions and collaborative advances to be developed by the members of the REDE/Italy project and SIGNO-CNPq/UnB project.
