Resumo

As alterações ovarianas e tubárias em vacas comprometem a fertilidade e a eficiência produtiva dos animais. Nos ovários, os problemas mais frequentes são os cistos ovarianos, que podem ser foliculares ou luteínicos, além de tumores, como teratomas e adenocarcinomas, que afetam diretamente a função reprodutiva. Desequilíbrios hormonais também podem causar anovulação, prejudicando o ciclo reprodutivo. No trato tubárico, condições como salpingites, hidrossalpinge e aderências dificultam a fertilização, geralmente resultando de infecções bacterianas ou processos inflamatórios. O diagnóstico dessas alterações envolve o uso de ultrassonografia, exames hormonais e análises microbiológicas. Os tratamentos variam entre terapias hormonais, intervenções cirúrgicas e, em casos mais graves, o descarte do animal. A prevenção é fundamental e deve incluir um manejo reprodutivo adequado, controle rigoroso de infecções e monitoramento regular do rebanho. O diagnóstico precoce dessas condições é essencial para minimizar perdas econômicas e garantir a saúde reprodutiva das vacas.
